History
The Gosport and Fareham Music Society was formed in 1969 and promotes a variety of music performed to very high standards by engaging professional artists. It also provides a platform for local music students to play before an appreciative audience. By including a range of soloists, duos, ensembles and choirs and both classical and modern music, most tastes are catered for. The Society is affiliated to the National Federation of Music Societies and has received financial support from both the Fareham and Gosport Borough Councils.
